On what Blueprint + Co is:
Blueprint + Co, is a creative executive open workspace for entrepreneurs to network and innovate ideas with like-minded entrepreneurs, all while building onto your existing business foundation. I realized the lack of an open working space that I found the need for. For the jet-setting entrepreneur who needs access to a workspace that focuses on work, networking and community for mature entrepreneurs and businesses.
On business classes being offered to students prior to entering the collegiate world:
I believe education is always a win. Whether the classes are offered from an accredited school, an online course or even an online workshop. There’s an intrinsic value in learning.
Taking business classes before attending college or any other higher institution is of the similar value as completing an internship before applying for a corporate-level job. You must learn in order for you to build your blueprint to success. I’ve recently launched Daymond On Demand which is a digital business curriculum to help educate aspiring entrepreneurs and provide them with the skills, tools and resources they need to start, build, and scale their business.
On the shift of Millennials turning to business over working a 9 to 5:
While there will always be the 9 to 5 jobs, the new generation including Millennials and now Generation Z, are not prioritizing a corporate job as their number one priority post-college. I believe this generation of Millennials and Generation Z have realized that you don't have to work a 9 to 5 to become successful. People are now taking control of what their opportunities are in business, and not having to rely on a corporate structure to get them to that place. The one good thing that came out of the recession in 2008 is the surge of businesses and entrepreneurs. They no longer waited for anyone to come rescue them, but rather found their inner entrepreneurial spirit and created their own path. That said, I think we’ll see more businesses and entrepreneurs growth in the next few years.
